Right after our lesson, Grady played his first playoff game and put one WAY over the fence to win the game. (his first home run ever). I can’t tell you how happy he was, and the smile on his face said enough for me. It was an amazing experience………You guys are the best, the memory that was made that day will last forever. Last night he almost cracked another one, that bounced off the fence – So, everything is going very well …….

We appreciate the expertise that you have in baseball; but, more importantly, we appreciate the kindness and positive coaching support that you give all of the kids (and parents) with whom you work. Tony, your coaching is the absolute best I've seen. And what makes it the best is the work you do beyond the technical skills. You respect each kid, you treat them with dignity, you have fun with them but never at their expense, you talk to them about good decisions in the rest of their lives (school and family), and you model for them what a healthy, responsible, hardworking adult can achieve. You understand how to work with kids and you give them alot! After watching you work, I can honestly say that each kid you work with leaves the camp, not just a better hitter, but a better person.

Dear Tony,

I wanted to write and give you another thanks for all your hard work. Due to the work you and I put into my swing has helped me end March in good shape. I got my first college hit in the second week of April along with my first run scored. Last week I got my second run scored and my first two RBI off my first college homerun.

TD whats going on. The swing is going well. Worked on the drills today and man, I could see some improvement already. I am actually becoming a huge fan of the drill with holding the five pound weight and using the back hand to swing the bat. I was peppering the right corner of the cage pretty well. Thanks again for helping me out, this stuff is awesome. My power has increased big time and its starting to feel even more comfortable. I can't wait t'll it becomes second nature.

I just want to thank you for a great experience through the camp. I learned so much and u made it easy other hitting coaches tell you to do so much at once but you broke it down and showed what i did wrong and explained it. I had practice the night of the last day at camp we hit and i realized how much i improved i didn't tilt my head and i turned my shoulder to center. i just want to thank you again for taking the time to do that camp.

My husband and I are so impressed with the entire Tony Dello program. Our son has had great success with the techniques Tony taught him and he has gone on to help his little brother and sister. Tony is so positive, funny and in touch with the kids. He doesn't talk down to them and makes his presentations enjoyable. He takes the time to explain each drill, how to do it, why it is important, and how it goes with the other drills. He went around to each station and took time with the players. Tony is a fantastic role model for these young players. We have enjoyed meeting him and his family. They are a treasure to baseball!

Therese and Tony, thank you guys both for the hard work you each put in for me. I have heard numerous compliments on my new swing from coaches and players alike. Our captain said I have shown great improvement since fall. The improvement was so good that I was selected to the travel roster. I will be spending spring break in California playing the top schools in the nation.

Tony,
After the lesson, in All Star play, George went 6-14 with 5 RBI's and only one strikeout. He hit several additional balls HARD but right at people in the field. His stroke had improved considerably after just one lesson. His team took second place at the 11U tournament and his hitting and pitching was a big part of it. After one 2 RBI double, a shot to the right center field gap, he came back to the dugout telling me he could hear Tony now."You're Welcome".

We look forward to the next lesson with Tony.whenever that may be. Please keep up posted on his next visit to IL.

John's first at bat in Thursday's game (day after his lesson with Tony) was the first pitch thrown to him and he hit a beautiful line drive to the wall between center and right on a college field. He went 4 for 4, what a great day he had!

Since the lesson, George finished the tournament season, 10-21 (.476 average) with 8 RBIs. Only one strikeout (looking). He now always put the ball in play. Huge improvement. Thanks.

Next he will try out for the 12U travel team. I believe he now has a real shot given his improved hitting.

Just a note to say "Thanks Again" for the Pro Batting lessons you provided for my sons Tony and Bobby this past Fall and Winter. The inside "tricks of the trade" you taught them has resulted in some really great batting stats for each of them this year in HS. My son came to your clinic that you held in February 2007 in Frederick Maryland at Hood College. I just wanted to tell you what an amazing year he had at the plate. He is 11 years old and plays little league. Last year was the first year he played in the "major leagues" and he had a total of 2 hits. That was to be expected, since he was only 10 playing against a lot of 12 year olds. However, we came to your camp this year and he ended the year hitting .475, with an on base percentage of .550 (which lead his team). He even hit a few balls that hit off the outfield fence. Last year he would have been lucky to get the ball through the infield. Also, this year he started pulling the ball (he is a left handed hitter). Last year he never hit a ball to the right side of the field. His coach came to the same camp (he took his son to the advance session). Both he and I were so impressed with your techniques and philosophy, that everyday in practice (and we practiced just about everyday) we used several of your drills (physio ball, soft toss into the net, using the 4x4 to swing on to help with balance). To tell how well it worked, our team won our league this year (we went 2-18 last year, this year we went 14-6). We led the league in hitting this year. We were runners up in our counties tournament of champions tournament. Both my son and his coach's son made our leagues 11 year old All Star team, which yesterday won the district title and now advances to the Maryland State tournament later this week. I just wanted to take a second to thank you for everything you did for my son, and hopefully ask if you are coming back to Hood College this winter. He is already talking about going to the advance session, and maybe even getting several more players from his team and league to take the seminar.

My 12 year old son Chris and I attended your clinic early this year at Hood
College in Frederick, MD. I found it to be an exceptional teaching clinic
and have applied your instruction to the Frederick Little League team that
I helped coach this year. Your lessons have made a significant impact on
Chris: last season was only his second year playing baseball and he hit
.333 with one home run; this year he made the 11-12 All-Star team, finished
with a .542 batting average and hit 12 home runs in 20 games. I really
want to thank you for conducting the clinic. I learned a tremendous amount
and was able to apply that knowledge to helping my son be the best he could
be. I guess that's the rewarding part...being equipped to help kids who
are willing to work and want to get better. In the end, I know this past
rewarding season will be one that I'll remember the rest of my days - as
will Chris - and for your part in making it happen I express my heartfelt
gratitude!
